Our Background
Developing Images is a unique service where students receive academic reinforcement intertwined with character design to build, strengthen and/or create self-awareness at its best.
We strive to connect imperative factors of Character aligned with academics to empower students as they discover, enhance and/or create their “Developing Images”.
Character Counts in Iowa is a non-profit organization in Des Moines, IA. Founded by former Governor Robert D, Ray in 1997.

Developing Images creates an online environment that is warm and welcoming which will ultimately excite students about learning, with the goal of extending this way of thinking into your child’s classroom behaviors.
Our Philosophy at Developing Images
In accordance with American Developmental Psychologist, Erik Erikson and his theory of Psychological Development, Developing Images strive to enhance academics while adhering to the growth, and development of students. the families we serve through the process known as” Character Counts”.

It’s six pillars includes: Respect, Caring, Responsibility, Trustworthiness and Citizenship, Fairness, and are aligned with academic support and simultaneously with practices to promote self-growth, self-esteem and self-awareness while meeting students where they are, but challenging them to reach optimal success in life.
